Very large winged angel in oak, 17th century Very large winged angel (1.63m high), on a sphere, carved in the round, probably having been part of an altarpiece? The whole, imposing in size, nevertheless gives an impression of lightness. Missing right arm, cracks, small graft in one of the wings. It rests on a modern steel base. Northern France or Flanders, late 17th-early 18th century.
