Josep Puigdengolas (1906-1987) trained at the School of Fine Arts in Barcelona, then in Florence. He is considered one of the best Spanish landscape painters of the 20th century. He is represented at the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía and the Museo de Arte Moderno de Barcelona, among others.
