Antique Fan, China for export to Europe. The engraved and pierced sandalwood frame. The leaf of paper painted with animated scenes of characters. The clothes and heads of the characters are cut out and glued onto the sheet. The border of the leaf decorated with down of Marabout feathers. It measures 12,59 inches long (with feathers) and approximately 20,07 inches in diameter. Circa 1880.
