Rare bronze sculpture with brown patina signed Ch. Lebourg for Charles Auguste Lebourg born in 1829 who died in Paris in 1906.
This sculpture is dated 1856.
Chiseled by the Gauthier Albinet Et. Publisher also marked on the terrace.
His best-known work is the creation of the caryatids of the Wallace fountain published by the Val d'Osne art foundry.
Five of its fountains are in Nantes and a hundred in Paris, as well as others scattered around the world.
Ornamental sculptor, also creates busts and equestrian statues of Joan of Arc for Nantes.
