Ewer basin in solid silver, with contoured edge. with ten pinched ribs and outlined with fillets. In the central cartridge, the coat of arms is united under a count's crown. Charge Hallmarks A crowned for Paris 1744-1750 Discharge (running dog)(on the edge) Letter-date: E crowned for Paris 1745 Illegible Master Goldsmith. Micro-scratches from use, one or two "points", including one on the edge of a rib. Tiny shock on the edge, not damaging this beautiful basin in excellent conditions (see photos) Beautiful work from the first half of the 18th century for this beautiful basin Length - Length: 34.5 cm. / 13.58 in.
