Church Trunk, Saint Antoine Piggy Bank
A money-box representing Saint Anthony of Padua. The collecting box features a beautiful original painting. The face and body of the Child Jesus show some wear from frequent contact. The lock and a side panel were replaced at some point. Spain or Portugal, 18th century or later. The dimensions of this rare object are 29 cm high, 18 cm wide and 17 cm deep (handle included).
