Beautiful oil on canvas, fishermen on the coast probably Breton or Norman by Gustave MASCART, Impressionist painter also signing under the pseudonym G MARIANI. Born in 1834 in Valenciennes and died around 1914. Fishermen on foot and a boat stranded on a beach of rocks and cliffs with a flight of seagulls, boats and cliffs in the background. Good condition, original canvas and frame (small restorations). Forming a pair with the “Mediterranean port” painting.
