Roland Hamon was born in 1909 in Paris and died in 1987.
Roland Hamon is a French painter of landscapes and animated urban scenes. He was a student of Cormon at the École Nationale des Beaux Arts in Paris. He exhibited at the Salons of French Artists of which he was a Member since 1934. We owe him a lot of views of Paris with a predilection for the boulevard senes and the approaches to the Butte or the old streets of the Montmartre district, around the Sacre Coeur. His works appear from time to time in public sales with uneven results.
