"Anglepoise Floor Lamp “1209” Cawardine & Terry"
Designed by George Cawardine in 1935 as a work lamp with ergonomics and stability as its objectives, this lamp was manufactured by Herbert Terry & Sons in England. This is an unusual variant, the “model 1209”, which was intended for professional environments, more specifically medical. It has remained in the same family for 2 generations, its painting is period and particularly well preserved. It dates from the mid-1950s. The electric cable has been changed. H max 183 CM XP 47 CM XL 47 CM (foot).
