The descriptive detail and pictures of these works can be viewed at www.antichitacastelbarco.it

The proposed painting, datable in the first decades of the eighteenth century, is a reissue of a painting by Sebastiano Conca made around 1710 for Cardinal Pietro Ottoboni (now the Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles: link).

The work represents the adoration of the shepherds, and creates wonder, as well as for the big ones, for the visual sense. The set is spectacular, with a pleasant effect of lights that are emitted by the child, support point of composition. Some paintings with the same subject or with slight variations have been presented at international auctions with considerable estimates. The canvas, in good condition, is accompanied by an antique frame, lacquered ivory.

The painting, like all our object is sold with a certificate of authenticity (FIMA)

We take care of the organization in a professional and safe transport.
