This beautiful, very decorative complete coffee grinder is a known model from the Sarreguemines factory which bears the DV brand of the Digoin and Vitry-le-François branches used during the occupation in the 1940s.
In addition to its good condition , it is remarkable for its quite rare and sought-after Provencal decoration, with a life-size cicada (with a very slight chip on its top), a yellow and red gradient background on which are painted a cicada aure singing on an olive branch.
