On the back of the panel the handwritten inscription Cerbère December 1884 ( Xbre 1884 ) This Roussillon painter, student of Cabanel, friend of the greats like Monfreid, Derain, Matisse and Maillol, created numerous and very beautiful views of the Côte Vermeille, some of which are exhibited at the Perpignan museum.
