"Charming Flower Spike In The Shape Of A Louis XV Commode Tomb In 18th Century Earthenware From Montpellier"
This pot-bellied chest of drawers is a flower stand in red enameled earthenware from Montpellier, it stylizes its big sister with its facade with 4 painted drawers and its curved sides with a pale blue, green and yellow floral spray. The top on a white enameled cover is punctuated with 6 orifices surrounded by blue dotted lines used to place floral arrangements, the ornamented uprights like the crosspiece are animated and highlighted with a beautiful blue color framing a yellow enamel facade. A southern production from the end of the 18th century and with all the charm that its presence can inspire on a piece of furniture with its touch of color accompanied or not by the pretty summer field flowers. A geographical curiosity for this decorative piece in good condition
