Footed pot made using the paste-on-paste technique. This technique, used in China since the Ming dynasty, consists of painting a white paste with a brush on a cobalt, brown or green background, in order to obtain a relief effect. The decoration depicts bamboo and blooming flowers, including plum blossoms, on a blue glaze background.

Very good condition, slight crack at the bottom of the pot.
