Two paintings sold at auction and showing the same composition; A Walk along the River (1896), hst 54 x 73 cm, Sotheby's New York 02/09/1999. & The Charenton Cabaret in Spring (1895) hst 54x73 cm, Sotheby's, London 04/02/1998 would confirm the date of creation and the location of our painting.
