Gabriel Charlopeau (1889-1967) Hsb Jardin Vendée Ou Charente

Born in Fontenay-le-Comte (Vendée) on September 21, 1889. He entered the Julian Academy at 17. He remained faithful to his native region for around fifty years, living in Nieul-sur-Mer near La Rochelle. He died in 1967. The La Rochelle Museum devoted a retrospective to him in 1969 and that of Cognac in 1978.
