Clock In Carrara Marble And Gilded Bronze Napoléon III

Beautiful clock from the Napoleon III period around 1880. Architecture in finely chiseled gilded bronze with rich decoration distributed throughout the clock decorated with foliage, plants, ribbons, covered vase with handles at the top, ram's heads and a frieze chiseled with a bow, quiver and torches wrapped in a crown. Three sides welcome a slab of Carrara marble supporting a bronze ornamentation.

Domed dial in white enamel finely worked with colorful paint of garlands highlighted by golden dots, accompanied by openwork golden hands. The dial is protected by a curved glass. Rectangular base with cut sides in solid Carrara marble, including six finely chiseled spinning top legs.

Original mechanism without modification. Ringing from the hour and a half on an old bell.
