"Banks Of The Saône – Signed Pierre Laroche, Dated 1948"
The work presents a view of the Saône, the artist's favorite subject. We see a bridge in the background, a construction in the river in the foreground. Everything is treated in pastel shades. The forms are without contours and without details, generating a soft atmosphere. Work representative of the style adopted by the artist during this period. He said: "I only keep the essentials of a scene".Painting signed lower right, dated 1948.
Very good condition, without restoration. Montparnasse frame, very good condition.
