Globe Scene 18th Miniature Characters Cabinet Of Curiosities
Curious scene under a glass globe with miniature characters, composed of plants "moss, branches etc...etc..." Painted terracotta subjects and gold leaf highlights. Average height of the characters 3cm, diameter of the base 33cm, total height 32cm. Everything is period correct except for the fabric braid which has been changed. Condition: some small losses on certain characters, a crack on the base of the glass.
