A large trophy of wild boar teeth (Sus scrofa) from the Black Forest on a wooden plaque. The teeth are set in a silver setting with a small chain. The chain is hinged on the carved wooden plaque. The location and date of the hunt are engraved on the front of the plaque and the name of the hunter on the back. The wild boar was shot in Germany in 1973.Trophies are souvenirs of hunted game, kept by the hunter as a souvenir or decorative object. For many centuries, it was a tradition to collect trophies. Today, they are increasingly appreciated as decorative elements in hunting lodges. This item contains parts of animal origin, which belong to non-threatened and non-endangered animals and which comply with US Fish & Wildlife regulations.
