Louis XV Style Provençal Walnut Sideboard
Beautiful Provençal sideboard in carved and molded walnut. The top has one door and two sliding doors. The bottom with three doors and two drawers, curved projections. Low scalloped rail with flowered medallion. Arched feet ending in a snail. Curved tops, rounded uprights, paneled sides. Abundant sculpted decoration: florets, acanthus, attributes with tied ribbons, flowers, olive branches, foliage, pearls and volutes. Wrought iron ornamentation: keyholes, handles and pull buttons, hinges. Good manufacturing quality, circa 1900. Total height 146 cm (107 cm + 39 cm), top width 168 cm, top depth 53 cm.
