In the shape of a protective deity, a mythical creature whose body merges the characteristics of a dragon or lion, figurative male sculpture representing a fertile deity, used on front doors as a symbol to ensure fertility through touch. Please look carefully at other details such as facial features, ears, claws and frog on toes. This is an extremely beautiful piece, handcrafted by a metalworker in Kathmandu, Nepal (circa 1920/30).
