Canonized in 1232, Saint Anthony of Padua is one of our most popular Saints. Here figured in Glory in a central medallion, he holds the Child in his arms. This is how he is often portrayed. This polychrome medallion crowns the relics of this Saint.As he comes to the aid of those who seek their way, he is the patron of lost causes.
Surround her in this representation, in a rich montage of paperolles, relics of Saint Monica, Saint Lucretia, Saint Mary Magdalene but also of Saint Claude, Saint François, and finally the remains of the veil of Saint Thérèse.
The seven relics are protected by a gilded wooden frame.
