Original burin on vellum signed in the lower left plate, representing a couple of peasants frolicking behind a millstone in a wheat field, the woman's left breast is revealed, on the second shot of another couple mowing the wheat.
Print mounted by the previous collector in a very thick 65 x 50 cm mat, this mat is glued on the 4 sides to the cardboard below, so we were unable to check all the margins.
Dimensions: copper: 265 x 195 mm - visible margins: 304 x 234 mm.
In lower margin in pencil: numbered 6/10 on the left, signed on the right.
Rare numbered and signed copy, this print will be included, unsigned or numbered, in the work of Jean Adhémar, La Gravure sur Cuivre, Angers, Jacques Petit editions, 1945.
A freckle in the plate in the upper left corner, good state
