Louis XV Fireplace, Rococo, Ca. 1775

An exceptional fireplace, made out of the Brun de Boulonge-marble, found in an ancien couvent in the région Calais, North-west of France.          Rococo, ca.1775.  The serpentine shelf is resting above a large and beautiful sculptured cartouche, richly foliated, also on both side-ends.
The canted jambs are adorned with more carvings, as one piece connected with sturdy footblocks. This soft-warmbrown chimneypiece makes a compelling statement in any interior.  Fireplace will be delivered with authentic decor-foyer-tiles (an option if you go for a real open fire) ànd old marble-tiles, to make a frontfloor.  Worldwide shipping. Delivery in Europe can be done by Antique Fireplaces First: 'In House Delivery'.
