Art Deco pendant with Africanist subject. Stamped brass with brown patina. Represents the profile of a young woman. Signed Monier on the necklace. Emile Adolphe Monier (1873-1970), sculptor of the Art Deco period, produced several portraits of the different ethnic groups of the former French colonial empire, in particular a series of medals depicting the profiles of Kassonge, Peuhl or Senoufo women, created in particular for the Colonial Exhibition of 1931.7 x 5 cm. Good condition.
