Small Wall Console, Louis XVI Style - Late 19th Century

Charming little console in gilded wood topped with an animated white Carrara marble, with projections on the front and underlined on the sides and the front by a small groove. This console is distinguished by its refined openwork belt made up of foliage, scrolls and macaroons on its angles. This movement belt rests on the front with two cylindrical feet, sculpted with leaves at the top, followed by grooves and palmettes at the bottom. Small round ball feet support the whole. Its two feet are joined by a concave spacer molded on the top and embellished with a large urn with Greek handles.
