Marine and travel case in mahogany with brass spandrels. It opens to reveal an interior with a writing tray lined with green leather (back) Mail storage under the tray and a secret drawer opening on the left side. He kept his two inkwells. Inscription on the lock in working order. Beautiful original condition. Period late nineteenth.
