Ft of frame. 93.5 x 78.5 Original oval canvas in its Louis XIV period frame, with a few accidents and minor gilding. Dirty varnish, with small restorations. On the back of the canvas is an inscription in ink. Rock . D... Hidden by the frame. Authenticate portrait thanks to an old inscription appearing in brown ink on the top of the frame: "Pierre Delaunay - cavalry captain - born November 24, 1665 - painted in 1743. For information. The name of the painter remains difficult to decipher in this registration which explains the reason why I do not mention it in the title Possibility of additional photos on request.
