Seventeenth Century Copper Painting Sainte Aux Anges
Superb and elegant 17th century copper painting. It represents in the center the Blessed Virgin haloed surrounded by a multitude of angels on a background of clouds. Around the angels are red and blue drapes, there is great finesse in the details of the faces and wings of the angels. The colors remained bright and bright, this high quality painting is also large in size and of great finesse. It is in relatively good condition considering its time although some small chips are visible. The set is presented in a period gilt wood frame.
