This "furrow frailero" or high-rise 17th century monk's chair (138cm), in walnut, rests on four square section legs. The two rear legs end at their top with an acanthus leaf. The armrests are flat and molded, they rest on turned baluster consoles. The front crosspiece is a scalloped headband carved with a plant motif. The rear crosspiece is fretted but not sculpted. Fairly worn leathers are fixed with large brass nails. Usual restorations have been carried out.
