"Portico Clock With Caryatids In Marble And Bronze, Louis XVI Period"
Important portico clock in white Carrara marble, bronze gilded with mercury and brown patina.

On a jumping marble base, and adorned with a gilt bronze frieze decorated with cherubs playing music on clouds, two consoles with windings decorated with flowering foliage and sunflower flowers, support the movement. These consoles carry caryatids draped in the antique style.

At the amortization, two cupids, each holding a garland of flowering foliage, frame an eagle with outstretched wings.

The clock is placed and presented on a turquin blue marble base.

The wire movement strikes the hours and half-hours.

Parisian work from the Louis XVI period.

The movement is in perfect working order, revised and guaranteed by a watchmaker.
