Pair Of Spanish Philip V Mirrors
Pair of Spanish Philippe V mirrors with their original mercury glasses.
Attributed to Filippo Juvarra (1678 - 1736) and Andrea Procaccini (1671 - 1734). The frame may have been made by Bartolomeo Steccone, a carver who worked hand in hand with Juvarra and Procaccini on the furniture for the Palace of La Granja of San Ildefonso.
The Royal Collections Gallery in Madrid exhibits a mirror by Juvarra with great similarities in design and carving.
First half of the 18th century.
