French work, 19th century Sublime and exceptional suite of four armchairs all in gilded wood abundant with sculptures on all the seats. Rare made-to-order of the time, also sculpted at the back to be placed in the center of a room. Low crosspiece decorated with medallions with a woman's head in profile, very high quality workmanship with lots of character. Provenance of a castle of the French upper middle class. Entirely reupholstered in the rules of the Art, upholsterer from father to son since 1880, work with high quality fabric and trimmings. Origin can be revealed to the purchaser to keep the discretion of the family.
