Engraving after Nicolas Ozanne "The Port of Rouen" Engraving made by Yves-Marie Le Gouaz (1742-1816) is a French gtraveur. Pupil of Nicolas Ozanne, of whom he married one of the sisters (Marie-Jeanne), then of Jacques Aliamet, he became in 1770 engraver of the Academy of Sciences, which charged him with his work. He was a skilful artist, who left sixty engravings representing the ports of France after drawings by Ozanne Planche from the series the Ports of France drawn for the King in 1776, By Lord Ozanne Engineer of the Marine Pensionary of Her Majesty.
