In 1948 he participated in the fifth edition of the National Art Quadrennial Exhibition at the Palazzo delle Esposizioni in

He is the founder of the group of Classical Abstractionism, together with painters Vinicio Berti, Bruno Brunetti, Gualtiero Nativi and Ermanno Migliorini, a group that was formed in the postwar period on the fervor of renewal and reconstruction, initially calling itself "Arte d'Oggi" and, after the exhibitions in Florence in 1945, 1948 and 1949, in 1950 the "Manifesto of Classical Abstractionism" was published and signed, drafted by the philosopher Ermanno Migliorini.
