"Hunting Pistol With 2 Barrels, Eighteenth Century"
It is a very beautiful hunting pistol, in very good condition. The two barrels are of a caliber of approximately 13.8 mm. They are 14.5cm long.The right and left plates ahave "swan neck" hammer. They are lightly engraved, as are the hammers.
The mechanism works correctly, with only one cocking notch.
The trigger guard is made of iron, finely worked.
The butt cap is made of iron, it is chiseled with a flower.
The wood is in very good condition, it is decorated with carvings representing a floral decoration.
The adjustments with the metal parts are perfect.
The ramrod is a later replacement, but in the style of the weapon.
It is relatively rare to find an 18th century hunting pistol in such good condition.
