Broliquier & Rodet: Antique French Sterling Silver Tureen & Stand Louis XIV Regency Style - 2089 G

Sublime and important covered solid silver Tureen & Stand in the Louis XIV Regency style, complete with its original Stand / Tray. The elegant contour of the set are emphasized by shed cartouches on a textured ground, and handles with foliated mounts enhanced with shell motifs. Each piece is stamped with the Minerva 1st standard mark (.950), and hallmark of  Master Goldsmiths of Lyon BROLIQUIER & RODET (Hallmark with the initials "BR and a hammer) received in 1898, with the Signature in full letters "BROLIQUIER & RODET Lyon". An important tureen / vegetable dish complete with its original stand, with refined decoration, is in very good condition, revised and cleaned by our Parisian Goldsmith, and just micro-scratches from use to note.
