Sake cup in wood lacquered with gold, silver and cinnabar powder. On the outside on a rich thick kinji background, decorated with flowers in gold and silver foil around the perimeter and in the center 2 stylized Chinese characters in thick lumpy cinnabar lacquer with the most beautiful aesthetic effect, probably the mark of the artist. The exterior is decorated with maple leaves in gold, red, green and brown lacquer on a black background. It should be noted that polychrome lacquers are very rare. This is a creation of excellent quality, the artist has brought together in this cut all the techniques and colors of urushi work, thus proving his perfect mastery of the material and the technique. Unfortunately part of the lacquer is blistered in one place, there is no lack but a detachment. The silver strips are oxidized and some are pierced. On the upper edge 2 very small chips, the photos clearly show these accidents. 110x25mm
