Large Pastel Louis XVI Period, Eighteenth Century, Fraternal Love Golden Wood Frame, Dated & Signed

Old & large pastel dating from the end of the 18th century. Subject depicting two children against each other. Very nice execution. Work monogrammed JM and dated 1786. Close-up portrait of a canvas representing the young Louis XVII and his older sister Marie Therese Charlotte of France. Pastel presented in a glazed frame in wood and gilded stucco. In good general condition, wear to the gilding.
