Period: around 1950 - 1960 Dimensions Diameter 64cm without the lampshades, wingspan with the lampshades 75cm Height 64cm Total height 126cm with possibility of reduction HISTORY: Audoux-Minet was a manufacturer of garden furniture, terraces and high lounges range in rattan, bamboo and raffia rope. The absence of a catalog of the Audoux-Minet house only allows a partial knowledge of their productions. We do know, however, that it was certainly during their honeymoon that Adrien Audoux, originally from Franche-Comté, and Frida Minet, originally from Switzerland, decided to set up their business in Cannes in 1929. In 1942, the company moved to Golfe-Juan not far from Vallauris. In the 1940s and 1950s, the designer couple offered original and modern furniture in natural materials for the wealthy clientele of the Riviera (Côte d'Azur). Pierre Bianchi took over the reins of the House in 1965 while continuing to create the same type of modernist furniture. The company closed its doors permanently in the 1990s.
