Portrait-charge Of Léon Gambetta Original Terracotta by Cyprien-Antoine Calmon (1837-1901) Good condition, some dirt Height: 24 cm Cyprien-Antoine Calmon was a student at the Toulouse School of Fine Arts. He quickly settled in Cahors where he developed the sculpture workshop that his father had created before tackling statuary and painting. He was the curator of the Cahors Henri-Martin Museum from 1883 until his death and one of the founders and then president of the Lot Literary, Scientific and Artistic Studies Society.
