Beautiful Daum Nancy Cup Decor De Montbrétias By Henri Berger 1900 Art Nouveau

Beautiful quadrilobed cut in multi-layered acid-etched glass, hot-pinched and perfectly hemmed edge. Decorated with polychrome enamels of flowering branches of Montbrétias. Decor designed by Henri Bergé (1870-1937), chief decorator at Daum, as evidenced by a watercolor by his hand deposited in the Nancy Museum of Fine Arts representing Montbrétia branches. Very beautiful colors of the orange flowers on the marmoreal white and orange background abundantly speckled with bright yellow spots, numerous green leaves that end in orange and a center of a very beautiful raspberry color on the lower part. Signature with the DAUM Nancy crest and the Cross of Lorraine, in reserve engraved in acid cameo in the decoration. Art Nouveau period early 20th century. Superb contrast and color gradient! Height: 7 cm Diameter: 14.8 cm Very good original condition. The decor is in very good condition with no wear to the enamel which is bright, very smooth and perfectly applied.
