"Napoleon III Writing Easel"
Rare large painter's easel forming a writing desk for storing documents from the Napoleon III period, with a structure in richly carved black lacquered solid wood decorated with finely chiseled silvered bronzes depicting spandrels, a fitting and a central medallion animated by a gallant scene bearing a mention after Antoine Watteau. Good general condition, dimensions: 1 m 75 high X 78.5 cm wide X 70-100 cm deep depending on inclination. The writing box measures 78.5 X 62 X 12 cm
