This oil on canvas was made in the 1930s, it represents a fairing basin probably that of Marseille. It bears a signature we manage to read Denys H. or Lenys H., the writing is to be identified, we have not found any information that corresponds to the signature, we remain attentive. We can see a steam tug at the quay, various fishing boats in the foreground and in the background, a stone breakwater and the sea in the background. The technique is very interesting and mastered, no doubt the hand of a confirmed artist.
