Beautiful Japanese porcelain vase. The multicolored hand-painted decoration depicts a varied scene in a kacho-ga type landscape with birds as well as trees and flowers, including peony and chrysanthemum flowers imprinted with symbolism (symbol of the beginning of autumn as well as than long life, health and well-being). Arita - Imari, Japan, Meiji era (1868-1912). Height 62.5 cm, diameter 35 cm. Very good state of preservation, barely visible crack on the upper edge. Form and cost of delivery to be agreed.
