Consulate period - 1st Empire, light cavalry officer's saber, XVIII°-XIX°. Golden brass mount with 1 branch of the guard joining a pommel with flat cap with horizontal throat with rivet button and short tail. Joining arc right in its middle part with pearl in olive in its center and ring, forming a right angle with the cruising with large mumps in shuttle. Slightly curved quillon ending in button. Ebony rocket squared on the sides and striated along the back. Flat Montmorency blade with 1 cutting edge and counter-edged at the point and central groove, blued in the third and bearing ornaments of gilded weapon trophies (stained blade and attenuated decorations, see photos.) Presence of the blade tie. Blackened leather scabbard with 3 brass fittings including 2 bail bracelet rings.
