Sumptuous still life with fruits, vegetables and birds.
In the rich composition, two wicker baskets: one containing some birds, and the second, upside down, on which a parrot is resting, and from which a cascade of red strawberries and two figs emerge.
On the opposite side, the composition is balanced by two pomegranates, one of which is open, showing the red and ripe seeds inside.
In the centre, an elongated leafy plant, highlighted by a skilful shot of light, makes a fine show of itself.
A work of remarkable quality and in an excellent state of conservation, the painting is particularly pleasing due to the rich composition, the pleasant colors and the skillful use, by the author, of reflections and light.
