Guy Charon was a French painter known for his brightly colored landscape paintings and lithographs done in a style reminiscent of Raoul Dufy. Guy Charon's works have Fauvist-inspired colors, but are softened by rounded shapes and lines. Born in 1927 in Écueillé, he moved to Paris in 1951 and began exhibiting at the Salon des Beaux-Arts and the Salon des Indépendants. His works are part of the collections of the Musée de Saint-Cyrien, the Musée du Petit-Palais in Paris and the Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris.
