Paris Porcelain Toilet Ewer & Basin, Empire Restauration Period
Beautiful set of toilets, said wash hand or washbasin in porcelain of Paris. It is composed of an ewer and a shuttle cup. Very beautiful polychrome and gold decoration with motifs of armor elements, quivers, musical attributes and in the center of the ewer a scene painted in black and white. The patterns stand out against a pale pink background. Porcelain from Paris, without signature to identify the factory, around 1820. This set is typical of the furnishing of a woman's room under the Empire or the Restoration, intended to be placed on a chest of drawers. It is in very good condition, no accidents, gilding slightly faded in places.
